일반적으로 실제 아나몰픽 렌즈를 기본렌즈위에 추가로 장착하고서 이동하고 찍고하는 방식 (Run-N-Gun shooting)의 촬영은 힘들기에, 그러한 불편함을 해결하고자 개발된 제품입니다. 이 필터는 트루 아나몰픽 이미지를 만들어내기 위해 늘리거나 쥐어짜지 않아도 됩니다. 일반적인 16:9를 유지하면서 촬영할 수 있으며 후편집과정에서 어느 비율로든 잘라내면 됩니다.
이 제품은 아나몰픽 렌즈의 스트리크나 수직 스트레치 보케같은 특성을 살려낸 제품입니다. 사용하기에 굉장히 쉽습니다. 앞에서 언급한 것처럼 실제 아나몰픽 렌즈를 장착해서 아나몰픽 렌즈와 일반렌즈 둘간의 초점을 맞추기가 쉽지 않은데, 이 필터는 이러한 문제를 상쇄해 줄 큰 잇점이 되는 것입니다.
이 필터는 선택적 초점이 필요한 쵤영장면에서 진가를 발휘할 수 있습니다. 부드러운 회전형 경통에 부탁되어 있어 정렬하기 편리하며, 이미지가 뭉개지지 않는 선예도가 높은 광학유리를 채용하고 있습니다. 흠이라면 사용하시는 렌즈의 광도를 1-2스탑 감소시킬 수 있는데, 이럴 경우 보완을 위해 빠른 스피드렌즈(f0.95-f2.8)를 사용하시길 권고합니다.
실제 아나몰픽 렌즈처럼 이 필터는 Prime SLR이나 Cinema 렌즈위에 사용되도록 만들어졌습니다. 7D, T2i 같은 50mm 또는 좀더 타이트한 크랍 프레임 카메라에도 적용될 수 있으며, 5D같은 풀프레임에 맞는 75mm 또는 좀더 타이트하게 만들어 진 제품도 있습니다.
일부 줌렌즈의 경우 맞을 수 있으나, 대체로 전면 구경이 작아야 합니다. 예를 들어 Canon 70mm-200mm 렌즈는 200mm이상의 대구경 필터를 채용할 경우, 전면렌즈가 너무 넓어 필터안의 구성요소인 보케효과를 활용할 수 없습니다.
실제 아나몰픽 렌즈와 같이 사용하실 경우에, 가장 궁합이 잘맞는 이상적인 SLR렌즈는 구형의 Canon, Nikon, M42 마운트(러시아 또는 일본제) 렌즈같은 소구경의 52mm-62mm 전면필터구경을 가진 제품들입니다. 50mm f1.8, 80mm f2, 100mm f2.8, 135mm f2.8는 매우 효과적이고 뛰어난 결과물을 가져다 줍니다.
이러한 종류의 구형 렌즈들은 재미있고, 선예도가 높으며, 튼튼하게 만들어졌을 뿐만 아니라 심지어 신형렌즈보다 가격이 저렴할 수 있습니다.


Originally designed for Run N Gun shooting where regular anamorphic lenses could not go! These filters will NOT stretch or squeeze to create a true anamorphic image. It keeps the image at 16:9 and you can crop in post at any ratio you choose.
It mimics characteristics of anamorphic lenses such as the flare or streak and vertically stretched bokeh. It's very easy to use and allows you to rack focus your photo lens like normal. This is a HUGE plus as shooting with real anamorphic attachments requires you to focus both the anamorphic lens and the photographic lens, making run and gun shooting pretty much impossible.
This filter is great for when you need those shots that do require rack focusing. It is mounted on to a smooth rotating filter for easy alignment and assembled with very sharp optical glass that won't dull the image. The down side is that your lens will lose 1 to 2 stops of light so we recommend fast speed lenses (f0.95 to f2.8).
And just like a real Anamorphic lens, these filters are meant for use on Prime SLR and or Cinema lenses. 50mm and tighter for cropped frame cameras like the 7D & T2i and 75mm and tighter for full frame cameras like the 5D.
Some zoom lenses will work but they'll need to have smaller fronts. For instance the Canon 70mm-200mm lens will NOT work with the filter at any range wider than 200mm because the front lens element is too wide and can't shoot through the bokeh effect element in the filter.
Also, as with Anamorphic lenses, the ideal SLR lenses to use are the older Canon, Nikon, M42 Mount (Russian or Japanese) lenses that have the smaller 52mm to 62mm front filter diameters. 50mm f1.8, 80mm f2, 100mm f2.8, 135mm f2.8 have given some of the very best results.
These types of older lenses are fun, sharp, well built and much more affordable than newer lenses.

You must use a 50mm lens or higher on Crop Frame Cameras & 75mm lens or higher on Full Frame Cameras. Using Step Up or Step Down Rings may be necessary if we do not have the exact size to match your lens. Select the size that is closest to your lens front filter diameter.

Q: Do you have just a Flare Filter without the Anamorphic Oval Bokeh?

Q: What are some lenses that you would recommend for use with the CineMorph on my DSLR?
A: We really like the old Nikon AI E series lenses, like the 85mm f2 or the 100mm f2.8. Even the 135mm is good. Other great lenses are the Russian Helios 58mm f2, Jupiter 85mm f2, Tair 135mm f2.8. The Japanese Takumar 55mm f1.8 is another good one. And of course even the old Canon FD lenses will work nicely as well, especially on the Panasonic M43 cameras like GH1, GH2 and GF2.

You will simply need Converter Rings. Nikon to EOS, (or Nikon to M43) FD to EOS (or FD to M43), or for the Russian and Japanese lenses an M42 to EOS (or M42 to M43) converter ring. They're found very cheap on ebay or other shops.
